Part 1: How to Play – The Basic Rules

1. What You'll Need

• Players: The game is designed for 2 players (1 vs. 1) or 4 players (2 vs. 2 teams) . Teams will alternate turns.

• Equipment:

  • 2 Inflatable Cornhole Boards: Place them facing each other.

  • 8 Bean Bags: Divided into two colors (4 bags per color) to distinguish teams.

2. Setting Up the Field

• Placement: Position the two boards on a flat, level surface, facing each other. The official tournament distance is 8.2 meters (27 feet) from the front edge of one board to the front edge of the other.

• Casual Play: For family fun, younger players, or smaller spaces, you can reduce the distance to 3-5 meters.

• Clear the Area: Ensure the playing area is clear of obstacles and there is a safe zone around the boards.

3. How to Throw

• The Correct Toss: All throws must be made with an underhand motion. The bag should be released before your hand comes up from the swing. Overhand throws are not permitted.

• Stance: The player must keep both feet behind the front edge of their board when releasing the bag. Stepping over the line ("foot fault") results in the throw not counting for that round, and the bag should be removed.

• Gameplay: Teams alternate throwing their four bags until all eight bags have been thrown. This completes one round (or "inning").

4. Scoring

• Scoring Values:

  • 1 Point: A bag that lands and stays on the board surface.

  • 3 Points: A bag that is tossed and falls completely into the hole.

• Cancellation Scoring (The Standard Rule): Only one team scores per round. At the end of each round, the points for each team are totaled. The team with the higher score subtracts the lower score from their own. The difference is their score for that round.

  • Example: Team A scores 4 points (one in the hole = 3, one on the board = 1). Team B scores 1 point (one on the board). Team A wins the round and scores 3 points (4 - 1 = 3). Team B scores 0 for the round.

• Winning the Game:

  • Standard Win: The first team to reach or exceed 21 points at the end of a round wins.

  • Alternate "Exact 21" Rule: For a more challenging game, you can play by the rule that a team must land exactly on 21 points to win. If a team scores more than 21 in a round, their score for that round is not counted, and they revert to their previous round's total.

Part 2: Important Safety & Usage Guidelines

Your safety and the longevity of your Langko inflatable product are our top priorities. Please follow these guidelines carefully.

1. Safety First

• Safe Inflation: USE ONLY AIR OR NITROGEN for inflation. Never use flammable or explosive gases like hydrogen or acetylene. Do not over-inflate or expose the inflated product to extreme, direct heat for prolonged periods.

• Prevent Punctures: Before each use, clear the playing area of all sharp objects such as rocks, glass, sticks, and metal debris. Avoid dragging the boards across rough surfaces.

• Maintain Safe Distances: Establish a safety perimeter of at least 2 meters around the boards to keep spectators and non-players safe from stray throws.

• Supervision: Children under 8 years of age must be supervised by an adult at all times. Ensure children do not climb on the boards or put small bean bags in their mouths.

• No Water Use: This is an air-inflated product for dry land use only. Never use it in or near water.

2. Product Care & Maintenance

• Pre-Use Inspection: Always check the boards for any signs of damage, such as seam separation or leaks, before inflating.

• Proper Inflation: Inflate the boards until they are firm and hold their shape, but avoid over-inflation which can stress the seams.

• Cleaning: After use, wipe down the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Rinse with clean water and allow the boards to air dry completely before deflating and storing. This prevents mold and mildew.

• Storage:

  • Fully deflate the boards and fold them loosely (avoid sharp creases).

  • Store in a cool, dry, indoor place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and rodents. The ideal storage temperature is between -5°C and 45°C (23°F - 113°F).

  • Prolonged UV exposure can cause fading and material degradation.

3. Minor Repairs

• Small Punctures or Tears: For small damages, clean the area and apply a repair patch from a repair kit. For larger tears, use a specialized PVC adhesive, apply pressure, and allow it to dry for at least 24 hours before re-inflating.
